Al-Fakharani continued: I was keen that the main character in the novel “Bar Layalina” should have vitality, compared to the heroes of previous works, and I always felt that the character of the “vital” hero was more difficult and more complex, and I often wondered why I was prevented before writing another My works dealt with the character of the dreaming hero, and my first attempts were not complete, but I drew that character as much as possible, for a lively hero who seeks in every way to get everything, and he is like many characters in life who move despite sadness, pressures and difficulties that do not prevent them from practicing life.
He continued: I am attracted by the characters who do not stop moving, striving and vitality, as they are characters that tend to life greatly and do not stop asking questions, and it was only suitable in this world to restore the features of the world of “third degree cinema”, to ordinary heroes, all of their backgrounds stemming from attraction and obsession with films. She continued: While reading the novel, I remembered distinct texts from the “literature of foolishness”, a type of creativity that appeared at the beginning of literature and is based on the idea of the “fool” theme, which is in a personal confrontation with “the wise”, whether as characters or as ideas, and Al-Fakhrani has his method. The special issue in creating foolish literature, and we can make us see with it the issue from more than one angle.
And she added: What is common in the literature of foolishness is that it is always ridiculous out of laughter, but by contemplating all human existence, we find that the issue has a response to everything around us. .
She explained that she had noticed that the texts of the novel were mixed with a kind of sadness due to the subject of the novel in itself. Emptiness and falsehood” is societal in general, and what is meant here is not a moral judgment but a philosophical judgment.
She added: “Al-Fakharani’s intelligence was evident in the choice of places, and the way he described them, and we noticed that the places in themselves reveal a lot to us, and they clearly refer to the issue of alienation and narrowness. It’s like a prison.
Ezz El-Din indicated that Al-Fakhrani does not turn his characters into caricatures, although this area of humor tempts the writer to practice sarcasm, stressing that Al-Fakhrani is always keen, even in presenting evil or fake characters, to reflect something human in the character.
