The journey to the next generation of foldable innovation begins now
Stephanie Choi, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Experience Business Unit, discusses this year’s Unpacked embrace of the next natural trend, and ways to open the Galaxy experience to everyone in digital or physical ways.
For a decade and more, Samsung Galaxy Unpacked events have been seen as the culmination of innovation and engineering, a celebration of progress and achievement, as they bring together the Galaxy community from around the world to unveil the latest Galaxy innovations from Samsung.
Since its launch in 2009, these events have gone beyond just launching or announcing new products, this event primarily unites Samsung fans and focuses on recognizing the hard work that thousands of employees put into each new product. Fans of the brand follow Unpacked to experience the next generation of Galaxy innovations that are the true spirit of this company, and its role in driving the mobile industry forward.
In light of the openness of the world to new experiences, we are working to redraw the image of Unpacked in people’s minds through the philosophy of openness Galaxy, to match the creations of new devices foldable with its exceptional specifications. Our ambition is not only to invent new technologies, but also to innovate a new marketing approach. To achieve this, we must ensure that the Galaxy Experience is open to all.
I personally look forward to seeing how the Galaxy community responds to the launches of new foldable devices, and we hope to see you on August 10, 2022.[ملخص الحملات الدعائية]Experience “Bigger Than” with Galaxy
In preparation for the launch of our next Unpacked experience, today we are launching a Bigger Than campaign that depicts a world that is already “bigger” than before with the imminent launch of new foldable devices. The Bigger Than campaign (>) reflects how the unique form factor of foldable devices is not only changing the way they look, but changing the way we interact with our devices.
It is also challenging expectations about the power of smartphones once again, so Samsung is introducing new ways to work, play and enjoy life with this new series.[فيديو الحملة التشويقية]
Combine digital and traditional events
This year’s strategy embraces a new era of Unpacked events, utilizing the best that digital and traditional events have to offer.
New immersive and experiential event spaces will be introduced that will allow consumers around the world to practice and explore our products, all in a fun, innovative and totally engaging environment.
The experience will occupy spaces in the heart of London’s Piccadilly Circus and New York’s Meatpacking District – two districts that represent the energy and excitement of Samsung’s upcoming announcements. These events will bring Galaxy fans, journalists, partners and Samsung employees together from all over the world, and allow them to explore the company’s latest products and innovations like never before.
The best is coming
In reference to our premium product “Bora Purple”, which is based on the values of diversity and optimism, we will spread the color purple throughout the city, where Samsung will participate with the Korean band BTS in an art show to launch the promotional video for foldable devices under the title “The Best is Coming” “Yet” to Come,” on August 10.
The full version of the video will be shown at 4pm EST in several world-famous locations, including New York’s Times Square, and will also be shown on some of the world’s largest and most popular screens.
Not only that, but we have a lot in store for you, including great new products that we’ll be showing the world over. Stay tuned for this event that will be remembered forever.
