The Chinese company, “Xiaomi”, the smart phone maker, unveiled 3 new devices that it presented to global markets, during the company’s summer launch conference.
And the new devices are a new tablet, an advanced wireless earbud, and a new generation of its flagship watches.
The company started with the launch of the “Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro” tablet, which features a 12.4-inch screen with “WQHD +” resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels), a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 120 Hz.
The screen supports “Dolby Vision” and “HDR 10” technologies, and a color gamut from the “DCI-P3” group.
The screen comes with a peak brightness of 500 nits and is “TUV Rheinland” certified for blue light emission.
The tablet is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 processor developed by the American company Qualcomm, paired with an Adreno 650 graphics processor.
The processor works with up to 12 GB of RAM of the “LPDDR5” type, and up to 512 GB of internal storage of the type “UFS 3.1”.
The new “Pad 5 Pro” tablet from Xiaomi runs on the “Android 12” operating system directly from the box, with the company’s traditional interface from the “MIUI 13” version.
The device features a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f / 1.8 lens slot. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel camera for taking selfies and video calls.
The new tablet has a 10,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
It also features a USB Type-C port. The tablet supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 + 5 GHz), and Bluetooth v5.2, and weighs about 620 grams.
The price of the basic version of the tablet (6 RAM + 128 storage) starts from 444 dollars, while the price of the highest version in the lineup (12 RAM + 512) is about 622 dollars.
The device is available in black, silver, and green color options.
Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro
The “Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro” watch features a 1.47-inch “AMOLED” screen, with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels.
The smartwatch uses a stainless steel center case and premium sapphire glass. The watch is water resistant to a depth of five metres.
The watch is made of high quality materials. The watch straps are available in “fluoro rubber”, “leather”, or “stainless steel”.
The back of the watch is also protected by a sapphire glass.
The watch, according to Xiaomi, has a streamlined body frame, a tighter wrist, and multi-layer polishing.
The Watch S1 Pro features a heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, air pressure sensor, ambient light sensor and temperature sensor. The watch is available at $222.
The new Xiaomi smartwatch supports Bluetooth v5.2. It contains a 500 mAh battery with wireless charging support.
The watch can operate in both low and high temperatures; It reaches minus 10 degrees Celsius up to 45 degrees.
The watch is the first from “Xiaomi” that has the ability to measure skin temperature. The watch can monitor your heart rate, blood pressure and sleep throughout the day.
The watch includes more than 100 fitness modes; Including running, cycling, mountaineering, triathlon, swimming, elliptical, rowing machine, etc.
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro
The new Xiaomi wireless earbuds are powered by a 12nm multi-core processor. The speaker supports a frequency response range between 20 and 4 thousand Hz.
The headset contains a 53 mAh battery, with a 565 mAh battery charging case.
The headset features support for the “Qi” wireless charging protocol. The earphones also get a “USB” Type “C” port for charging.
With Noise Cancellation turned off, Xiaomi says the headset can provide up to 9 hours of playback time, compared to 5 hours with Noise Cancellation enabled.
The headset supports “Bluetooth v5.3” technology for communication with a range of up to 10 meters. Both earbuds and their charging case have an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.
The company has set the price of its new headphones at $148, and it is available in “Moon Shadow Black” and “Star Gold” color options.
